Price List for dance classes 2026-2027 (Recreational)
Registration
A registration fee of $30.00+HST per family (non-refundable) is due at the time of registration in the form of e-transfer, cheque or cash. (one time fee each year)
Our registration works on a first-come, first-serve basis. Register early in order to guarantee your spots! Once registration is complete you will receive a confirmation email with 24 hrs. We must have a completed registration form for every student with paid registration fee and payment for fall term is due upon registration. Please be sure to notify us of any health issues and make sure your child has everything they might need in an emergency with them (i.e. Inhalers, epi-pens, etc).

Payment Options
E-transfer, Check or Cash Payments
There are three payment options.
- Payment made in full at time of registration.
- Payment may be split into two or three instalments. First payment made at time of registration, the second payment on November 15th, 2026 and final payment on January 15th, 2026. This offers 60-62 days between payments. A 5% financing fee will be added to the total.
- Monthly instalments (only available when registering for the full season). The total price is divided by 9 instalments. First payment made at time of registration, and remainder monthly payments from October to May is made on the 1st or 15th of each month. A 5% financing fee will be added to the total.
Recreational Costumes
Each class will perform one dance in the year end recital. Costumes range in price from $85.00-$120.00 plus HST. A non-refundable Costume Deposit of $60.00 is due by November 8th, 2026 for those participating in the May Recital. The outstanding amount will be due the month of April.
Classes run from Monday, September 14th, 2026 through to Thursday, May 13th, 2027. Dress rehearsal is Friday, May 14th and Recital date is Saturday, May 15th, 2027.
Refund/Cancellation/Credit Policy:
Tuition, registration fees and costume fees are non-refundable. Refunds will not be given for days missed due to absences, holidays, studio breaks, or weather-related closings. Refunds will only be issued if DRS cancels a class due to insufficient enrolment. Account credit may be given in the event of a medial emergency and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Credits can only be applied to any DRS tuition or fees due within one year.
We do not offer refunds unless there is a documented medical reason why your dancer can no longer participate, or in the event that you are moving out of province and unable to attend classes. Moving to a new address still within Ottawa, a newly arising scheduling conflict with another activity or sporting event, or disinterest in continuing with dance do not qualify students for a refund or credit.
NSF/Late Fees:
There is a $45.00 charge on all NSF cheques and/or returned EFT payments. Accounts not paid within terms are subject to an accruing 5% monthly finance charge and discontinued services until paid. Accounts more than 60 days past due may be submitted to collection services.
Class Withdrawal Policy (Three Month Trial Registration):
When a dancer registers for the three month trial with DanceR Studio, tuition is considered non refundable should the student choose to withdraw from class.
Class Withdrawal Policy: Full Year Registration
Unless specifically stated, all students who register with DanceR Studio are automatically assumed to be full year registrations. For students who choose to register and pay in full, tuition fees are considered non refundable should the student choose to withdraw from class.
Student Illness Policy: Registration
Dancers with a fever, vomiting or stomach flu should stay home from class, returning once they are 24 hours fever or stomach issue free.

Halloween- Saturday, October 31st, 2026 -Studio Open until 2:45pm
Holiday Break- Saturday, December 19th – Sunday, January 3rd, 2027
Family Day- Monday, February 15th, 2027
March Break- Monday, March 15th- Sunday, March 21st, 2027
Good Friday/Easter Monday- Friday, March 26th, 2027, Sunday, March 28th, 2027 & Monday, March 29th, 2027
