Eloisa Corona is a Mexican dancer and ballet teacher that came to Canada almost 7 years ago.
She commits her life to dance, owning 2 successful ballet studios back in Mexico, specializing in Classical ballet. She danced with a local company for many years all around Mexico performing different characters from the classical repertoire such a Coppelia, Don Quijote, Nutcracker etc.
At some point she stopped dancing and decided to open her first ballet studio, but she wanted to be able to offer something else than her experience as a dancer. She received her certificate to teach the Vaganova Syllabus from the famous John White at Pennsylvania Ballet Academy of Society in Philadelphia, PA.
She also has trained in the world wide known Catedra de Danza in La Habana, Cuba. Home of the Ballet National de Cuba. She has other workshops under her belt in Choreography, Composition, Foundations on Classical Ballet and Advanced Ballet.
She loves teaching and her classes are a combination of passion, discipline, and positivity, sometimes with a hint of humour, she understands that every student is an individual and always encourages the student to be their own best. Eloisa is very excited to be a part of the DRS family!
